The production of Linen fabric:
The production process of linen fabric begins with cultivating flax plants. Once mature, they are harvested either manually or by machine. Then comes retting, where the harvested flax stems are soaked in water or placed in a moist environment to separate the woody parts from the fibers. After retting, the fibers go through scutching and hackling to remove impurities and align the fibers. Next, the prepared fibers are spun into yarns. Finally, these yarns are woven on looms to create the linen fabric.
